US Rep. Tim Walberg wins 5th Congressional District race

Incumbent U.S. Rep. Tim Walberg won reelection Tuesday to serve another two-year term in Congress, representing Michigan's 5th Congressional District.

With an estimated 97% of the vote counted, Walberg, of Tipton, received 66%, while his Democratic challenger, Libbi Urban, received 33%. That's based on unofficial results compiled by The Associated Press, which called the race shortly before 11:30 p.m.
